I really enjoyed the cruise! They gave us the largest cabin on the ship, with a huge jacuzzi, two large balconies and a great view. The food was delicious, especially for dinner. Kayaks, squid fishing, master class, cave - I liked everything, but the time was very short, I wanted a little more. Well, the ship's route is very short, only 4 hours for the whole time we sailed, the rest of the time we stood at anchor in the bay.

Our tour guide Binh was very helpful and funny. He tried his best to ensure we have a good trip. Our hotel was in a small alley so the bus could not turn, so we walked over to another hotel on main stret to meet up the group. Then we have to catch another ferry, and another bus ride to get to the cruise. We had half a day on Cat Ba Island, and another half day canoeing and swimming in Ha Lan Bay. The overall planning and time management of the trip was good. Views were great, and we had an enjoyable day. Returned to Hanoi at around 7:30 pm.

This is really an enjoyable trip. All the staffs are friendly, especially James. The room is clean. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and they give us a surprise. Highly recommended to take Velar of the Seas.

It was rainy and the road was slippery but the tour guide let us enjoy it by showing us the mountain crab and others we can enjoy only on a rainy day.

This experience was so great.The tour guide Billy was great he was very jovial, funny and he made sure that everyone had a great time. We were picked up from our airbnb in the old quarter to the bus(including a ferry ride),and the whole bus journey from Hanoi Old Quarter was about 3 hours there also a stop for washrooms and to get food, Billy also made sure that our bus ride was not boring he gave us some information, After we boarded the cruise we were assigned tables we were given welcome drinks and after sometime we were served lunch which was delicious and there were options for everyone and that was the best food we ate in our whole time in Hanoi After that we went to viet hai village we can go to the village using a bicycle or by going in battery car so please make sure to not wear and dress or to bring another outfit to change I would recommend going on cycle as the views are just sooooo good after that we returned and went to another place for kayaking which was very good we kayaked for about 35min the we boarded the cruise so that we can go for a swim
The slide on the cruise was a tad bit scary but still great experience the we were served some fruts(pineapple was the best) and biscuits,tea and a cake which were great then we were taken back to hanoi through a bus ferry and a bus there was also a stop
